Fernanda Barrence Mutz is the CEO and co-founder of the Zurich-based travel startup The Trip Boutique, winner of the 2019 global World Tourism Forum Lucerne Start-up Innovation Camp in the category Destination.
Prior to founding The Trip Boutique, Fernanda spent 10 years working in Fortune 500 corporations in the Americas and in Europe, holding various advisory and management roles. In such positions, Fernanda experienced businesses from multiple perspectives and managed cross-functional and cross-cultural teams in a global scope. A Brazilian and Swiss citizen, Fernanda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (UFMG, Brazil) and a Master’s degree in Design (ZHdK - Switzerland), through which she specialised in trends research and innovation strategy.
The Trip Boutique was born in 2017, out of Fernanda's lifelong passion for travel and for creating solutions that make people’s lives easier. The Trip Boutique is a personal travel advisor, bringing the one-on-one travel advisory experience to the digital world. Based on individual profiles and on a highly curated destination collection, the platform combines technology and human expertise to produce tailor-made travel plans.
The Trip Boutique wants to make personalized travel accessible to everyone and, with that, make an impact towards a more meaningful, conscious and sustainable tourism.
