Adelbert Bütler was born in Switzerland, 1947. Mr. Bütler spent his career in retail, having worked in department stores across the globe including in cities such as Geneva, London and Chicago.

He spent 16 years with MANOR, Switzerland’s largest group of department stores, where he was responsible for buying management and a member of the executive board for 10 years.

Mr. Bütler was CEO of BUCHERER GROUP, Europe’s largest multibrand retailer in the high-end watch and jewellery sector from 1995 to 2009. Bütler is married and has three children.
