Sarah Hillman - Global Head of CRM & Data at the Travel Corporation (TTC)

 

Sarah is the Global Head of CRM & Data at the Travel Corporation (TTC), a family of over 40 award-winning travel brands from luxury hotels and boutique river cruises, to guided travel experiences and destination specialists.

Sarah has spent the last decade in the travel industry, working in a range of technology transformation programs across Ecommerce, Digital, CRM & Data. She started her tourism career at TUI UK & I on their Graduate Leadership Program taking on a series of commercial placements. Whilst at TUI, Sarah moved into a more tech-oriented role becoming a Project Manager on their transformation program. Sarah moved to TTC in 2015 as a Senior Project Manager, progressing through several promotions to her current role, leading customer engagement, data and technology strategies for the group’s broad portfolio of brands.

Prior to her career in travel, Sarah completed her MSc by research, publishing her first paper on the long-term health impact of Sakurajima volcano on local populations. Subsequently, she worked for several years as a Research Associate for the Institute of Hazard, Risk & Resilience (Durham University) as part of a scientific group developing a new protocol to rapidly assess the toxicity of mineral dusts.
